Abstract
In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, Polly Dolan, Tina Adam and Sarah Hewitt of the SEGA Girls School in Morogoro, Tanzania sat with Judith Bruce and Sophie Soares of the Adolescent Girls Community of Practice, just as their girls were being allowed back to school.
The fruitful conversation that followed highlighted the invaluable role girls, and their young female mentors, can and did play in tackling crisis, serving as social first responders to not only themselves but their communities.
