Abstract

Este cuaderno marca una nueva fase de implementación del programa radial Abriendo Oportunidades. A pesar de las situaciones inesperadas por el confinamiento del COVID-19 el equipo segue trabajando con una actitud positiva en pro del empoderamiento de las niñas y adolescentes que viven en las comunidades rurales. Más que nunca las niñas necesitan información y orientación adecuada, principalmente en temas de salud, educación en derechos humanos, prevención de violencia, equidad de género entre otros. La presente guía fue elaborada como herramienta para desarrollar temas dirigido a niñas y adolescentes ante la pandemia. Es importante equipar las mentoras en habilidades y destrezas, para que posteriormente proveen a las niñas herramientas estratégicas que les permite generar nuevos conocimientos y experiencias.

This booklet marks a new phase of implementation of the radio program Opening Opportunities. Despite the unexpected situations as a result of the COVID-19 confinement, the team continues to work with a positive attitude toward the empowerment of girls and adolescents living in rural communities. More than ever, girls need adequate information and guidance, mainly on health issues, human rights education, violence prevention, and gender equality, among others. This guide was prepared as a tool to develop topics aimed at girls and adolescents facing the pandemic. It is important to equip mentors with skills and abilities, so they can then provide girls with strategic tools that allow them to generate new knowledge and experiences.
