Abstract
Las mentoras de Abriendo Oportunidades guían a muchas niñas hacia el conocimiento, la soberanía alimentaria y el porvenir. Además de enseñarles a realizar un huerto familiar, aprenderán a preguntar en su comunidad, a imaginar lo que serán en el futuro y a hablar con la tierra. Esta guía ayudará a las mentoras a llevar mejor sus sesiones. Todos sus contenidos serán ampliados y reforzados a través de materiales complementarios: canciones, textos e imágenes para compartir con el grupo. Este manual está formado por siete sesiones: La diversidad de cultivos, Todo surge de las semillas, El huerto familiar, Aprendamos a hablar con la tierra, Somos lo que comemos, Imagino lo que seré; y Un regalo para mi comunidad.

The mentors of Abriendo Oportunidades guide many girls toward knowledge, food sovereignty, and the future. In addition to teaching them how to make a family garden, they will learn to ask questions in their community, to imagine what they will be like in the future, and to communicate with the earth. This guide will help mentors better run their sessions. All of its contents will be expanded and reinforced through complementary materials: songs, texts, and images to share with the group. This manual is made up of seven sessions: The diversity of crops, Everything comes from seeds, The family garden, Let's learn to communicate with the earth, We are what we eat, I imagine what I will be; and A gift to my community.
