Abstract
The Population Council is the global leader in vaginal ring development, with more vaginal rings in our product pipeline than any other organization. Our rings are designed for contraception, prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and multipurpose prevention combinations. They contain a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients, including hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives, as well as antiretroviral (ARV) and non-ARV compounds for HIV prevention.
