Abstract
The evolving landscape of family planning (FP) services in Nigeria embraces digital tools for monitoring and assessing quality of care, aligning with the broader healthcare system's focus on Primary Health Care (PHC) and Quality of Care (QoC). This transformation is not unique to Nigeria as many countries recognize the crucial and interconnected roles PHC and QoC play in ensuring access to essential health services, promoting community well-being, and improving health outcomes. The dataset includes 175 clients of reproductive age who received Family Planning services from trained PPMVs in Kaduna and Lagos states between March and July 2023, and interacted with the digital FP monitoring tool immediately after method uptake/service delivery. The study also used a Semi structured FGD guide to obtain information from women who interacted with the digital tool (in Lagos and Kaduna, Nigeria). All discussions were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim and analyzed thematically. The study aimed at providing insights into the perceptions and experiences of women utilizing the digital tool in assessing the QoC they receive in Nigeria, discussing challenges faced by users, and suggestions for improvement.
