Abstract
Tribal communities are disproportionately affected by COVID-19. This webinar describes the work of the Indigenous Adolescent Girls Empowerment Network (IMAGEN) to counter the social isolation Native girls may be experiencing during the pandemic. IMAGEN virtually convenes “Girl Society” mentors bi-weekly to share tools that strengthen girls’ connections and uphold Native matrilineal lifeways. This includes a COVID-19 response fund. Response fund recipients describe their recent experiences to support girls’ physical, mental and spiritual health during COVID-19.
