Women with disabilities (WWD) are subjected to various forms of violence, discrimination, and denial of their sexual and reproductive rights, as well as challenges in accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. There is anecdotal evidence suggesting that WWD in the Arab region face the same violations of their sexual and reproductive rights as those in other parts of the world; however, research evidence from this region is scarce. This study aims to explore the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of WWD in Egypt and Jordan. The study adopted a socio-ecological framework that examines the individual, community, institutional, and societal factors that either facilitate or hinder WWD’s attainment of their reproductive rights.
